Dont Solve a problem that is not there
"Don't solve a problem that is not there"
I have spent some time last week and this week focused on what draws my attention and am constantly at risk for being distracted by shiny, but empty things like (Tamatoa from Moana). It occurred to me today that some of the things that have drawn my attention are productivity focused items- even when there is not a challenge I am dealing with.
I spent some time last week working through a meeting scheduling system- mostly because I used one from an author and thought leader I met with today and it presented as quite polished. After a conversation with them today, this notion occurred to me to not try to solve problems that are not there.
This person (presumably) had a problem - too much attention focused on scheduling new meetings- they found a solution - the calendly site. On the other hand, I had the challenge of not being as polished as they are, and sought the calendly site as a solution. There is a better solution to my problem.
